Education and Events
National education conferences and regional education conferences are held annually. SGMP educational programs at both the annual conferences and regular local trainings, instruct on how to produce effective agency meetings that are conducted within budget allocations and per diem allowances. Valuable tools that help sharpen planning skills are shared to that public funds are spent economically and in a manner that produces results.
Monthly Educational Training Information:
Meeting Planners – $10
Suppliers - $25
Non Member Meeting Planners - $25
Non Member Suppliers - $35
Late Registrations and Cancellations after 10am on the Monday prior to meeting date:
Meeting Planner Cancellation Fee - $10.00
Supplier Cancellation Fee - $30.00
Guest Meeting Planner and/or Supplier Fee - $5.00
Due to the rising costs of credit card processing, a 3% processing fee will be added to ALL debit/credit
card purchases when you pay by credit card at the monthly meeting and ALL MOCAP SGMP Activities/Events. We
appreciate your understanding. This will apply to the September 12, 2019 regular monthly meeting and all events going forward.
To register for an event, RSVP to Debbie Davis at email@example.com no later than 11 am the Monday prior to the training date.
Meeting planner guests must complete and return the Prospective Member Registration Form at the time of RSVP.
As the Chapter is making a financial commitment on behalf of its member meeting planners, there will be a charge of $10
($5 dollar registration and $5 no show fee), for all late registrations and/or cancellations or no shows. On behalf of its member suppliers, there will be a charge of $30 ($25 dollar registration and $5 administration fee), for all late registrations, cancellations, and/or no shows.
Non members may attend up to 2 events before he/she must submit an application for membership, regardless of member type.
$25 charge will be assessed for any returned check in addition to the amount of the original check.
